GCN Health Foundation is committed to enhancing nationwide health finance in Nigeria and sub-Saharan Africa by providing healthcare coverage for vulnerable populations. We have developed an innovative health insurance app to drive enrolments for both the formal and informal sectors across multiple states in Nigeria. This initiative is a crucial step towards achieving the Sustainable Development Goals by 2030.

GCN Health Foundation generates enrolments from the informal sector through shared collaborations with the state and federal ministries of health by supporting targeted outreach campaigns in local communities to create demand generations. We raise awareness about the benefits of our health insurance app through state-wide led community events, partnerships with local organizations, and mobile health clinics.

By collaborating with the state and federal governments, implementing partners, international organizations, health planners and policy makers, community leaders and influencers, we educate individuals in the informal sector about the importance of health coverage and how our app can provide them with access to affordable healthcare services.

Additionally, our health finance Apps simplify the enrolment process and provide support in multiple languages to ensure inclusivity and accessibility for all individuals in the informal sector nationwide.
