Dr. Yasangra Rabo Adeniji (MBBS, FWACP, MSc) is a dedicated pediatrician and public health specialist serving communities in Northeast Nigeria. With a Medical degree from the University of Maiduguri (2012), a postgraduate clinical fellowship in Pediatrics from the West African College of Physicians(2021), and a Masters degree in International Health and Tropical Medicine from the University of Oxford(2022),
Dr. Adeniji has a robust background in both clinical and public health. She has pioneered innovative health strategies, such as adapting life-saving procedures to resource-limited settings, leading health awareness campaigns, engaging healthcare workers in district hospitals to improve early referrals, and fostering continuous community involvement. Over the last five years, her research has focused on neonatal malaria, prematurity and health system challenges affecting service delivery.
A strong advocate for Health System strengthening, Dr. Adeniji provides technical support to regional government initiatives and has trained over 500 primary healthcare workers in child health.
